A clear sign of America’s decay is seen by the way that only certain people or groups can be offended, but other groups are not allowed to be offended.
Over the past few years, I’ve complained that certain things are offensive to me, but no one listens and nothing is done. In fact, there are many things in America today that I find extremely offensive, but no one in authority cares.
I find the open acceptance and promotion of homosexuality and everything LGBT to be extremely offensive, but if I say anything, I’m only called a homophobe, bigot and guilty of hate language.
I find the social acceptance of profanity and pornography to be extremely offensive, but no one seems to care. I’m called a prude and worse.
I find many depictions of shirts and other articles of clothing to be offensive, but I’m told that’s my problem.
I find the open blaspheming of God, Jesus and the Bible to be the most offensive, but when I say anything, I’m called a right-wing extremist.
On the other side of the coin, a black America can say anything they want about a white person, some of which is very offensive, but I’m told that’s my problem and they have the right to do so. However, if I say anything that could be taken negatively about a black America, I’m instantly called a racist and hater.
An LGBT person can say anything they want against straight and normal people and that’s okay, but don’t dare say that they are wrong or refer to them as sinners as described in the Bible or you will be in trouble.
Look at what has happened to Christians like cake artist Jack Phillips and other business owners who live their faith in Christ Jesus. They become targets of those who reject biblical teachings with the desire to either force them to go against their faith or shutdown their business.
CNN, America’s most liberal and anti-American, anti-Christian media outlet recently claimed that President Donald Trump’s reference to the Mueller investigation as a witch hunt is offensive to witches.
The same double standard has been more than evident with social media giants like Facebook who have been carrying out a systematic effort to silence conservatives and Christians.
One of the latest examples was what Facebook did to Franklin Graham, son of the late Billy Graham. He was notified that he was given a 24-hour suspension from Facebook over a post he made back in 2016. He posted his support for North Carolina’s bathroom bill, but now, Facebook says that post violates their community standards on hate speech.
This part year, Facebook has suspended or shutdown many hundreds of pages and accounts of conservatives and Christians, just for posting the truth or just posting Scripture and prayer. A conservative or Christian can complain to Facebook that liberal posts are offensive, but rarely will they take any action, but let just one liberal complain and their gavel of un-justice slams down swift and hard.
This double standard of who can and cannot be offended is a major symptom of the disease that is killing America, a disease that can only be cured with a massive Christian revival or reformation.
