When President George H. W. Bush sent US troops into Kuwait and Iraq, Democrats screamed at him, calling him a warmonger.
They said that Bush’s reasons for military action were action and that the United States had no cause to take military action anywhere in the Middle East.
Due to Trump’s stances with North Korea, Iran, Russia and China, many Democrats have been accusing Trump of wanting war.
After Trump announces that he is withdrawing troops from Syria, the same left-wing liberals that called him a war monger and now condemning him for withdrawing from Syria.
The National Sentinel – WH adviser blasts CNN, media, over Syria withdrawal: Suddenly the Left craves Mideast wars? – White House senior policy adviser Stephen Miller appeared with CNN host Wolf Blitzer Thursday night to discuss POTUS Donald Trump’s decision to withdraw all American forces from Syria and draw down U.S. troop strength in Afghanistan by nearly half, blasting the Leftist media for its sudden hypocrisy regarding Middle East wars.
““The media that’s having this hysterical reaction to James Mattis retiring is the same media in many cases — the same politicians in many cases — who cheered our nation into a war in Iraq that turned out to be an absolute catastrophe,” Miller said in response to a question about Mattis’ retirement and the question of whether it was at least partly due to the president’s decision to remove all 2,000 U.S. troops from the war-torn country.
“This president got elected to get our foreign policy back on the right track after years of being adrift. One foreign policy blunder after another in Iraq and Afghanistan and Libya hasn’t worked out for our national interest,” Miller continued…
The Democrats didn’t want war and now they don’t want President Trump to end a war and bring our troops home.
Clearly, today’s Democrats and mainstream media only want what Trump doesn’t want.
If that is true, the perhaps Trump should oppose building a border wall just to see if Democrats would change again and push for a border wall.
