While Accusing FBI Officials of Treason Trump Vows to Release All FISA Warrant Documents

Towards the later stages of the 2016 presidential campaigns, Donald Trump announced that he or his campaign was being spied upon and insinuated that it was being done by the Obama administration.

Democrats, including Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton and many others denied any spying was being done and labeled Trump as being paranoid.

It was later revealed that Trump was right and that Obama, Clinton and other Democrats had lied to the American people.

It was later revealed that the FISA warrant obtained by Trump-hating members of the FBI, was based upon the unverified and flawed Steele dossier, even though Democrats and the FBI initially denied that accusation as well.

Trump told anchor Sean Hannity that his lawyers previously had advised him not to take that dramatic step out of fear that it could be considered obstruction of justice.

“I do, I have plans to declassify and release. I have plans to absolutely release,” Trump said. “I have some very talented people working for me, lawyers, and they really didn’t want me to do it early on. … A lot of people wanted me to do it a long time ago. I’m glad I didn’t do it. We got a great result without having to do it, but we will. One of the reasons that my lawyers didn’t want me to do it, is they said, if I do it, they’ll call it a form of obstruction.”

Trump added: “Frankly, thought it would be better if we held it to the end. But at the right time, we will be absolutely releasing.”

In Trump’s interview, he pulled no punches when speaking of those who went after him, and went so far to say that some FBI officials were guilty of treason.
