America’s support of Planned Parenthood is nothing less than heartless.
Last week, we watched – as did many other Americans – the horrifying video of Planned Parenthood’s director, Deborah Nucatola, admitting to selling aborted baby parts on the black market.
Nucatola talked about harvesting hearts from mutilated babies while blissfully eating salad. It was nothing less than heartless. And to sit by passively as a nation fully knowing that this is happening is even more heartless.
Where is the outcry?

Thank God for Gov. Bobby Jindal and others who have called for immediate investigations into Planned Parenthood. Hopefully this will lead to the end of the organization’s funding with our tax dollars.
Those sounding the alarm are simply following Ephesians 5:11: “Have nothing to do with the fruitless deeds of darkness, but rather expose them.”
You see, Planned Parenthood doesn’t want to be exposed for what it truly is – a bloodthirsty organization founded by, as Eric Metaxes said, a racist eugenicist.
Margaret Sanger, founder of Planned Parenthood, wrote in a letter to Dr. Clarence Gamble on Dec. 19, 1939: “We should hire three or four colored ministers, preferably with social-service backgrounds, and with engaging personalities. The most successful educational approach to the Negro is through a religious appeal. We don’t want the word to go out that we want to exterminate the Negro population, and the minister is the man who can straighten out that idea if it ever occurs to any of their more rebellious members” (“Killer Angel,” George Grant, P. 74).
Read that again until it sinks in.
Just as the Confederate flag came down – the next to come down should be Planned Parenthood. It doesn’t want the word out about how racist its roots truly are!
It also don’t want the word to get out about how it covered up sexual abuse, disregarding mandatory suspected statutory rape reporting laws.
Even more, it doesn’t want anyone to know it provides instructions on how to circumvent parental consent laws.
The list goes on. And now they’ve been exposed for harvesting and selling unborn baby parts for scientific experimentation.
It takes a special kind of deception to believe that an unborn child in a mother’s womb is nothing more than a “lump of tissue” and then to fully admit that hearts, lungs and livers from this “lifeless tissue” are valuable on the black market.
Think about it for a minute: What is a heart? What are lungs? And what is a liver?
They’re life-giving organs created by God that sustain our very being. Without them, we couldn’t live.
An unborn child in a mother’s womb is nothing more than tissue, Planned Parenthood?
Do you see the hypocrisy?
So what’s God got to say about all this?
“For You formed my inward parts; You wove me in my mother’s womb. I will give thanks to You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; wonderful are Your works, and my soul knows it very well. My frame was not hidden from You, when I was made in secret, and skillfully wrought in the depths of the earth; Your eyes have seen my unformed substance; and in Your book were all written the days that were ordained for me, when as yet there was not one of them” (Psalm 139:13-1 NASB, emphasis added).
It’s that simple. God formed our parts – the very parts that Planned Parenthood sells for a profit.
He made us fearfully and wonderfully in our mother’s womb, with purpose and a plan.
And deep inside all of us, our souls testify to this truth.
Yet we as a nation have become callous to the voice of God in our souls. We have rejected Him, and, as a result, we have rejected the fact that unborn children are living beings created by God.
So we destroy life as if we are the authors of it. And the blood that we’ve shed as a nation has polluted our land – because innocent blood has a voice.
When Cain killed Abel, God said, “The voice of your brother’s blood is crying to Me from the ground” (Genesis 4:10a).
In every state in this union, innocent blood is crying out from the ground. And Judgment Day is coming because God is a good judge. He will render justice and not allow the guilty nation that approves of this to go unpunished.
Yet the beauty of God is that He’s already taken the punishment at the cross. If we turn to Him and humbly repent of our sins – beginning in the church – then we will find His mercy and forgiveness. Now is the time for that. It can’t come soon enough.
As many Christians are truly worried about religious liberties coming under attack, we need to humbly realize that for the last 42 years we’ve given little thought to the heartless stripping of the liberties of the most vulnerable among us. We are the first hypocrites –long before Planned Parenthood – because we should know better.
It’s time for the church to consider what breaks our heart, because if the shedding of innocent blood doesn’t, we’ve become heartless. And no matter how much we beg God to protect our religious liberties, our punishment is coming.
Let’s humbly repent today as 2 Chronicles 7:14 teaches us, and then let’s be a voice for the voiceless by demanding that Planned Parenthood be defunded.
But don’t stop there. Go to the abortion clinics in your city and lovingly offer your church as a place of help for abortion-bound mothers. They are looking for choices, but many feel abortion is their only choice. Let’s be the change we want to see in America. Let’s not be heartless anymore!
