VIDEO: War on Boys

From Prager University:

What ever happened to letting “boys be boys?”

Consider these two cases: A seven-year-old boy was sent home for nibbling a Pop Tart into the shape of a gun. An 8-year-old boy’s parents were summoned for a conference because the teacher was alarmed that the boy had drawn a picture of a sword fight.

In this week’s video, author Christina Hoff Sommers talks about why today’s classrooms are at war with normal boy behavior. She explains why this is harmful and what you can do about it. If you know a boy who gets into trouble in school for being noisy, restless, active, or competitive — in other words, normal — please forward this video to his parents. It could change his life for the better.
