“They ruined our decorations. They threw them out.”

Those words from Vietnam veteran Ethel Holloway who had been putting up Christmas decorations at the Audie Murphy VA Hospital for 33 years without any problem until now.

The South Texas VA hospital even took the middle of the train set away because it said the words, “Merry Christmas.”

Another VA hospital in Salem, Virginia has banned Christmas greetings, Christian Christmas carols and even Christmas trees earning them the “Ebenezer Award” for the “most ridiculous affront to Christmas.”

As Becket Fund director Kristina Arriaga said, “Our veterans stare down the most hostile threats to freedom the world has ever known. But I’m pretty sure the words ‘Merry Christmas’ are not one of them.”
