US Hits Iran with More Sanctions to Stop Use of Child Soldiers

Some years ago, I had a man working for me who had escaped from Iran with his family.

He told me of how all of the boys were taught to hate America and Israel and that all infidels must be converted to Islam or killed.

He also told me that some of the boys he knew were recruited and trained to be child soldiers who would die for their country.

This is still happening today in Iran and the Trump administration has taken action to stop this barbaric and inhumane practice.

Sanctions have been placed on a network of businesses that finance the recruiting and training of child soldiers for their Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps.

American Military News – The United States has slapped sanctions on a network of businesses that provide financial support to an Iranian paramilitary force that Washington says recruits and trains child soldiers for Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC).

The new sanctions, announced on October 16, are part of the United States’ economic campaign to pressure Iran over what President Donald Trump’s administration describes as its “malign” role in the Middle East, including support for militant groups.

In announcing the sanctions, the Treasury Department said in a statement that a network of some 20 corporations and financial institutions known as the Bonyad Taavon Basij was financing the Basij force, a volunteer paramilitary organization linked to the IRGC.

“This vast network provides financial infrastructure to the Basij’s efforts to recruit, train, and indoctrinate child soldiers who are coerced into combat under the IRGC’s direction,” Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin said…

Many of these child soldiers have been sent to Syria to fight with President Bashar al-Assad forces.

Allegedly, some of the businesses that have been providing financial support for child soldiers are shell companies, making it hard to trace, but following the money has made it possible for the US to  identify many of these companies.

Hopefully, the sanctions will cut off much of the financial support used to recruit (often by force) and train (brainwash) boys as young as 12 to be ruthless killers.
