University Holds Gender-Neutral Homecoming

Ever since any of us can recall, high schools, colleges and universities have held homecoming events where they announce and crown a homecoming king and queen.

Thanks to Obama’s pension for liberal perversion and anything that is anti-Christian, anti-family and anti-American, minority groups – LGBT – to not only become legal and acceptable, but in many instances, given preferential treatment over normal Americans.

After the rise of homosexuality, the next big craze is transgenderism.

Tens of thousands of young girls are now being forced to share their bathrooms and even shower-locker rooms with boys who claim to be female but still anatomically male.

Many institutions are dropping all reference to male and female ignoring the major in order to cater to a minority.

That extreme has now become evident at Purdue University where they just held their gender-neutral homecoming.

(Fox News) – Purdue University in Indiana held its first gender-neutral homecoming on Saturday in an effort to bring equality to campus.

The university’s student-led Spirit and Traditions committee decided to do away with the traditional “king” and “queen” labels for the ceremony’s respective male and female winners, instead bestowing them with the title of “homecoming royalty.”

This year’s winners were crowned during halftime of Purdue’s homecoming football game against Boston College. The Boilermakers went on to beat Boston College 30-13.

Seniors Grant Wood, a biology major from Indianapolis, and industrial engineering major Lily Bishop, of Cincinnati, were selected by a combination of online student voting and formal interviews by a panel of faculty, staff, students, alumni and community leaders, the University said in a news release

The move for a gender-neutral homecoming followed Purdue’s urging to have faculty and students stop using the ‘man word’.

While they were pursing gender neutralism, the main focus was directed at eliminating any references to males more than to females.

One now has to wonder when Purdue will replace their school mascot, the Boilermaker, which is portrayed as a male?

The gender emasculation of our society is another example of how America is quickly becoming a Godless society.
