Last Saturday, House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) addressed the California Democrat’s State Convention in Los Angeles. Pelosi claimed at the time that an unnamed Republican told her the GOP does not care about hungry children in America. Pelosi further stated that this same unanonymous “friend” referred to the poor and hungry as “invisible” to an “indifferent” GOP.
This sounds like the same kind of “reliable” source at Bain Capital, who supposedly told Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-NV), in 2012, that then-presidential candidate Mitt Romney didn’t pay any taxes for 10 years. That’s been proven to be a typical Democrat lie.
The over-the-top rhetoric is nothing new to Pelosi. She utilized almost the exact same wording at her weekly press briefing in early February. Only on that occasion, it was the rock band U2 that inspired her “invisible” line. Pelosi also feigned religiosity by throwing in the Biblical parable of the Good Samaritan.
