Thomas Brejcha, President & Chief Counsel of the Thomas More Society, asks, “Should you be punished by the government for doing your job, just because you’re pro-life?” Brejcha explains:
[T]hat’s exactly what has happened to Former Kansas Attorney General, Phill Kline.
Phill Kline heroically defended the unborn, and now he’s had his law license taken away because of it.
Mr. Kline was the first prosecutor to charge Planned Parenthood and late-term abortion provider, George Tiller, with crimes — for failure to report child abuse and/or for violation of late term abortion restrictions.
Phill’s investigation turned up enough evidence against the abortionists that Kansas trial judges found “probable cause” that crimes had been committed.
But the Kansas abortion establishment counter-attacked Phill Kline to stifle and derail his prosecutions!
The abortionists and their political allies, who hated Mr. Kline for his outspoken pro-life position, slammed him with a boatload of ethics complaints.
Now, the Kansas Supreme Court has ruled that Phill should lose his law license indefinitely because of the charges brought against him by the abortionists.
But the abortionists cannot be allowed to defeat Phill. We’ve appealed his case to the U.S. Supreme Court.
