Trump Reportedly Deploys 5,000 Additional Military Troops to Southern Border

The migrant caravan that originated in Honduras and is currently in Mexico heading north now is reported to number somewhere between 7,000 to 8,000 and seems to be growing daily.

They claim to be seeking asylum, but have obviously rejected the offer of asylum and jobs from the Mexican government.

Since the Mexican government failed to stop the caravan as they promised, President Donald Trump has vowed to prevent the caravan of invading foreigners.

Trump had already deployed up to 2,000 troops, including National Guard troops.

The Pentagon is apparently set to deploy an additional 5,000 U.S. troops to the U.S.-Mexico border, officials announced Monday.

Troops would be sent from Texas, Arizona and California, the Wall Street Journal first reported.

The number is a sharp increase from the 800-troop deployment that was reported last week, as the migrant caravan that has built up to about 7,000 people heads through Mexico toward the United States.

The caravan of approximately 7,000 migrants is trekking northward through Mexico with the goal of entering the U.S. Honduras, El Salvador, Guatemala and Mexico have failed to stop the caravan so far, prompting President Donald Trump to announce he would follow through with his threat and begin cutting foreign aid to those countries…

Many conservative and patriotic Americans feel that it’s time that our military men and women start protecting America’s borders and the American people.

We are tired of seeing our troops die and get wounded in countries that hate America and who will never know peace, regardless of what the US does.

It’s time to bring our military personnel home and have them defend their homeland.

If our military can’t stop the invasion of our country, then it’s time for the American people to take up arms and protect our border per the Second Amendment.
