After Attorney General William Barr let the nation know that the Mueller found no evidence of collusion between Trump and Russia, White House Adviser Kellyanne Conway quickly called for the resignation of Trump’s #1 accuser, Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA).
In response to Conway’s call for his resignation, Schiff acted like a defiant child and publicly claimed that he still firmly believes that Trump colluded with Russia.
For the pat 2-years, Schiff claimed to have evidence to prove it, but no evidence was ever given to Mueller or made public.
President Trump and a number of House Republicans have joined Conway in calling for Schiff to resign due to his lying and leaking information, none of which proved any collusion.
The Epoch Times – Trump and House Republicans Call on Adam Schiff to Resign – President Donald Trump and Republicans on the House Intelligence Committee on March 28 called for the resignation of House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff (D-Calif.)
“Congressman Adam Schiff, who spent two years knowingly and unlawfully lying and leaking, should be forced to resign from Congress!” Trump wrote on Twitter on March 28.
The president issued the message as nine Republicans on the House Intelligence Committee sent Schiff a letter calling on him to step down from his post as chairman of the committee.
In the letter, the nine Republicans wrote that Schiff’s actions “both past and present are incompatible with your duty as chairman of this committee.”
“As such, we have no faith in your ability to discharge your duty in a manner consistent with your Constitutional responsibility and urge your immediate resignation as Chairman of this Committee.” …
I would love to see President Trump, via his personal attorney Rudy Giuliani, file a federal lawsuit against Schiff on the grounds that he repeatedly slandered Trump with his false accusations for the sole purpose of defaming Trump’s character.
If private citizens can be sued for slander and libel, then shouldn’t politicians also be subject to similar lawsuits?
After all, they are supposed to be the example of abiding by the law, not the exception and it’s time to start holding politicians accountable for their intentional lies.
