Trump Guilty of Weaponizing Outer Space Claims China

Earlier this year President Trump announced that he planned on creating a new military branch known as the US Space Command.

The announcement took many by surprise and quickly raised protests both from US and foreign liberals, socialists and communists.

This week, President Trump carried out his plan by issuing a directive to create the US Space Command, a new military branch that is bound to attract the attention of a lot of young men and women.

In response to Trump’s directive, China accused the United States and Trump of intentionally weaponizing outer space while most nations believed should remain a neutral place of exploration and science.

American Military News – China accuses US of ‘weaponizing’ space, turning it into ‘new battleground’ – China lashed out at the U.S. following President Donald Trump’s directive this week to establish the U.S. Space Command.

A Chinese spokesperson said the orders will “weaponize” space, an act China opposes, France 24 reported Wednesday via AFP.

“China has consistently proposed the peaceful usage of space, and opposes the weaponization of space and a space arms race,” Chinese Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Hua Chunying said at a press conference.

“We oppose even further turning space into the new battleground,” she added.

Trump’s directive was signed Tuesday, officially ordering the Pentagon to establish the U.S. Space Command as the 11th combined combatant command.

“I direct the establishment, consistent with United States law, of United States Space Command as a functional Unified Combatant Command,” Trump wrote in an official White House memo to the Pentagon…

Believe it or not, but this is the second time the US Space Command has been formed.

It existed from 1982 to 2002, but wasn’t widely publicized and then it was dissolved in 2002 when it was made part of the US Strategic Air Command and the US Air Force.

If anyone, including China believed that out space would not become a place for military forces that could launch attacks on earth and try to defend the earth from foreign objects that appear to about to impact the earth.
