The government shutdown is entering its third week and most of us feel sorry for the 800,000 federal workers that are not getting their paychecks.
Personal bills and needs don’t stop during a government shutdown.
If you listen to Democrats and the mainstream media, you would instantly blame President Donald Trump for the government shutdown.
However, Trump is right when he says that he was elected to protect America and with the endless attempted invasions of migrant caravans, America most definitely needs to be protected.
Hence, the border wall is mandatory in accomplishing the goal of protecting America.
The Washington Times – Trump stands strong on shutdown: ‘I was elected to protect our country’ – President Trump on Sunday said that he gets no pleasure from shutting down the government but felt duty-bound to do it to protect the country.
“I don’t like doing this. I have no fun doing this. I was elected to protect our country. That’s what I’m doing,” said the president.
The partial government shutdown continued for a 16th day as the president and Capitol Hill Democrats remained in a standoff over his demand for $5.6 billion for border security, including a barrier or wall on the southern border.
“This shutdown can end tomorrow. It’s really dependent on the Democrats,” said Mr. Trump.
House Speaker Nancy Pelosi has said a border wall is “immoral.” Senate Minority Leader Charles E. Schumer said Mr. Trump shut down the government in a “temper tantrum” over not getting his way…
It’s obvious that Democrats are the ones holding 100% of the blame for the government shutdown and why so many government workers are going without a paycheck and afraid of losing their homes or feeding their families.
What every patriotic American needs to be doing is asking Democrats and members of the mainstream media why they are so against protecting America and the American people?
The answer is simple, but not one that any of them will admit.
The real reason is that they see the tens of thousands of illegal immigrants as potential Democrat voters, and not necessarily as legal voters.
