Trump Backs Away from Cohen, Calling Him a Weak Person

President Donald Trump’s former personal attorney has been shown to possibly be a sleezy character, the type that gives lawyers a bad reputation.

He was in the middle of the alleged payoffs of Stormy Daniels and another woman who made sexual allegations against Trump for incidents years before the 2016 elections.

It now seems that Cohen has lied to Congress over a real-estate and/or other business dealings in Russia prior to and during the 2016 elections.

After Cohen pled guilty to lying to Congress, President Trump seems as if he is trying to distance himself from Cohen.

Trump referred to Cohen as a weak person’ as the media labels him as an outright liar.

The Washington Times – Trump: Cohen a ‘liar’ and ‘weak person,’ asserts he could do business as a candidate – President Trump said Thursday that former personal attorney Michael Cohen is a “weak person” who’s lying about a lapsed Trump real estate project in Russia, but he insisted there would have been nothing wrong with pursuing a business deal in Moscow while running for president in 2016.

Responding to Cohen’s guilty plea to lying to Congress in special counsel Robert Mueller’s probe of Russian election meddling, Mr. Trump told reporters that his ex-lawyer is actually lying instead to get a reduced prison sentence.

“He’s a weak person, and not a very smart person,” Mr. Trump said at the White House before departing for the G-20 summit in Argentina. “He’s got himself a big prison sentence, and he’s trying to get a much lesser prison sentence by making up a story.”

Cohen admitted in federal court Thursday that he lied to the Senate Intelligence Committee last year when he testified that he ended work on the potential Trump Tower Moscow project in January 2016, before the Iowa presidential caucuses…

Democrats and the media are making a big deal that Michael Cohen lied to Congress.

Yet, the same finger-pointers were silent when Hillary Clinton lied to Congress, the American people and the courts on numerous occasions.

She lied about what happened at Benghazi and she apparenty lied about her role in providing or NOT providing help to the US embassy compound in Benghazi, Libya.

Hillary also lied about her use of a private unsecured email server and about her deleting all of her emails.

She lied about her role in the Steele dossier, since it was proven that her campaign had paid millions of dollars for the dossier.

Worse yet, Hillary lied to the parents of the victims of the Benghazi compound attack, telling them she would keep them informed about what happened and then they never heard from her again for well over a year.
