In 1987, President Ronald Reagan and Soviet General Secretary Mikhail Gorbachev signed the historic Intermediate-Range Nuclear Forces Treaty.
The Treaty took effect on June 1, 1988.
The treaty supposedly called for both nations to eliminate all nuclear and conventional short and medium range missiles along with the launching devices they used.
Over the weekend, President Donald Trump accused Russian President Vladimir Putin with repeatedly breaking the terms of the treaty by their development of missiles that were banned by the treaty.
Reportedly, Great Britain has announced that they support Trump’s withdrawal from INF Treaty, indicting that they also agree with Trump’s claim of Putin violating the treaty.
The Sun – BRITAIN today backed Donald Trump after the US President ditched a 30-year-old nukes treaty with Russia.
Defence Secretary Gavin Williamson blamed Vladimir Putin for undermining the Intermediate-Range Nuclear Forces (INF) Treaty.
He said the Kremlin needs to “get its house in order” before the West can deal with it on an equal footing.
The treaty, which dates back to 1987, stops the US and Russia from launching most cruise missiles from the ground.
But Putin’s regime is accused of repeatedly breaking the treaty by developing banned missiles.
Mr Trump said last night: “We’re not going to let them violate a nuclear agreement and go out and do weapons and we’re not allowed to…
I can’t help but wonder if Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton and Robert Mueller, among others, could be held ass accomplices to Putin’s violation of the INF Treaty?
After all, it was the Obama administration who orchestrated the sale of 20% of America’s uranium supply to Russia.
The infamous Uranium One Deal was approved by then Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and after a whistleblower notified the FBI, they investigated but the investigation was suddenly closed and hidden under the directorship of then FBI Director Robert Mueller.
Adding it all up, chances are, Russia used some of OUR uranium to build the weapons that Trump is accusing Putin of building in violation of the INF Treaty.
