The So-Called ‘Transgender Bathroom Policy’ Debate Intensifies

The so-called bathroom policy has taken another turn. This is the case involving Gavin Grimm, the girl who wants to be a boy and use the boys’ restroom. But there is a significant development that has taken place in this case. We’ll talk about it on Faith and Freedom.

Mat Staver: Well, the Fourth U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals that sits in Richmond, Virginia, the Court of Appeals for that state and several other states, actually sent the case back down to the lower court, and cancelled the oral argument that was scheduled for September. And they specifically said, “This case is likely moot.” And they wanted the lower court to take the first crack at it.

This is a case, Holly, that went all the way up to the Court of Appeals. There was a 2-1 decision, in which it ruled in favor of Gavin Grimm. And then it went up to the United States Supreme Court. It was pending before the U.S. Supreme Court. President Trump was elected. President Trump then revoked the directive of Obama, that wanted to impose this LGBT…
