This week on Vocal Point with Jerry Newcombe, (April 29 – May 5)

Listen to VOCAL POINT Daily at MIDNIGHT, 6AM, NOON, 6PM, (Eastern Time) on<>.

Greg Wrightstone – Topic: Climate Change Some of the Democrat leaders, such as AOC (Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez) or presidential candidate Beto O’Rourke, have claimed that because of catastrophic man-made climate change, we only have about 12 years left on earth—if the present trends continue, without major radical changes. Gregory Wrightstone, an earth scientist with 35 years of study of the earth, is troubled by the claims of what have been called the man-made climate change alarmists. Wrightstone wrote a book filled with facts and pictures and graphs, called Inconvenient Facts: The science that Al Gore doesn’t want you to know. Greg Wrightstone joins Jerry Newcombe on Vocal Point to address the issue of man-made climate change alarmism.<>

Marcus Pittman – Topic: Abortion

Marcus Pittman is a video producer with the group<>. He produced a video called “Babies Are Being Murdered Here” and a subsequent documentary, “Babies Are Still Being Murdered Here.” His organization condemns the use of violence on the part of anyone claiming to be pro-life. Their 5-part message is:

  1. Abortion is MURDER
  2. An issue of national sin
  3. Repent and believe the Gospel
  4. Rescue babies and parents
  5. We want justice

Trending: Normalizing Sin Has Consequences

Marcus Pittman joins Jerry Newcombe on Vocal Point to discuss the horrors of abortion.<>

Ed Martin – Topic: Christian Involvement in Politics The late Phyllis Schlafly continues to speak from the grave, even though she died in the Spring of 2016. Phyllis Schlafly had a tremendous impact on the American political scene for many decades. Ed Martin now heads up the organization she founded. Martin helped edit some of Schlafly’s books. Why should Christians and people of good will get involved in the political process? Ed Martin visits with Jerry Newcombe on Vocal Point to discuss answers to that question and also to talk about his late mentor’s positive influence on the American scene.<>

Dr. Peter Lillback – Topic: America’s Christian Roots Some today believe that the “Treaty of Tripoli,” an obscure treaty which they incorrectly claim was signed by George Washington (as opposed to John Adams), completely undermines the thesis that America has Judeo-Christian roots. What are the facts about the Treaty of Tripoli? Dr. Peter Lillback is the president of Providence Forum, a group dedicated to rediscovering our nation’s rich Christian heritage. Together with Jerry Newcombe, Dr. Lillback wrote a book that became a bestseller on the faith of our nation’s found father, George Washington’s Sacred Fire. The two authors put together 26 podcasts <>  n the faith of George Washington from virtually every angle. Now they continue with a new series of podcasts<> (the “Lillback/Newcombe Conversations”) on the faith of our founding fathers. Here is a discussion on the Treaty of Tripoli.<>
