Pope Francis has been following the case of Kim Davis, the elected clerk of court for Rowan County Kentucky, and during his recent visit to America he welcomed her and her husband to a private meeting at the Vatican Embassy in Washington D.C.

The Pope took time to encourage Davis to continue unwaveringly in her religious regarding marriage as the union of one man and one woman.

He said that he thanked her for her courage and he told her to stay strong.

This was an amazing symbol and message to the world that he stands with Kim Davis with her stands on her religious beliefs for the natural created order of marriage as the union of one man and one woman.
