The culture is increasingly becoming contemptible and execrable against God. It is not peculiar for those who are at enmity with God to employ deviant practices in their unbridled pursuit of promoting turpitude that favors their agenda, while suppressing constitutional liberties for those who oppose.
In 2017 thus far, Americans have seen the Constitution perpetually assailed by those who only care about liberties that promote their agenda, and not for all. Homosexual supporters, pro-choice advocates, Black-lives matter, and anti-God watchdog groups will use the words equality, love, justice, but once someone disagrees with them, it will be transparent just how unequal, unloving, and unjust they will become.
Homosexual advocates and supporters love to dialogue about love, respect, and solidarity. Nevertheless, once a Christian disagrees with the same-sex position, homosexuals will loath, revile, and sue.
Gender-confused homosexuals, who aspire to be the opposite sex, have many demands that they forcefully demand of others. They will plead for inclusivity, yet they become irate when Christians will not subjugate themselves to their demands. Gender-confused homosexuals want to be called by the pronouns of their choice, regardless if it violates a Christian’s conscience, and they want to relieve themselves in restrooms with people of the opposite sex, regardless if others feel that it is odious and not safe. This is why I have often said that the homosexual agenda should never be lauded as heroic—but hypocrisy.
Pro-choice liberals will advocate for women’s rights, yet they are blinded that abortion is not contrite, beautiful, or meek—it is cold-blooded murder. It is ironic that pro-choice advocates actually feel that they defend women’s rights when abortion is a premeditated decision to annihilate a woman’s right when they are forsaken in what is supposed to be the safest place in the world—the womb of the mother. This is why young mothers, who are contemplating abortion, need to be reminded that abortion is a twenty first century holocaust, and those who approve of mothers aborting their children are accomplices to this grizzly act that conspicuously target innocent children.
The Black Lives Matter propaganda is perplexing since this ideological movement does not advocate that “all lives matter.” There are many proponents of this movement, not all, who will decry law enforcement officers of bigotry and lawlessness, yet the violent protests, looting, arson, shooting at police, shouting racist rants at white police officers, and failing to recognize others who have allegedly been mistreated by police just because that are not black, do not help their cause. God created male and female after His own image, which is why “all lives matter.”
The Freedom From Religion Foundation (FFRF) is a professing atheistic watchdog group that operates under the guise of protecting the constitutional principle of the separation of church and state. On the FFRF website, they laud themselves with victory for the removal of Christian vestiges and Christian sentiments [emphasis added]:
FFRF keeps several challenges in the courts at all times, and has ended a variety of violations of the First Amendment including: Removing a devotional Jesus painting from a public middle school (Ohio), ending a city chaplaincy and prayers (Pismo Beach, Calif.), removing a Ten Commandments display from schools (Virginia, Pennsylvania), halting a school Child Evangelism subsidy and removing a nativity scene from a city hall entrance (both Wisconsin)…
In my opinion, the FFRF does not defend the constitutional principle of the separation of church and state. They are purveyors of Christian denigration, and their appellation of being a “freedom from religion” foundation, a phrase not used in the Constitution, expressly states their agenda which is to remove all religion from the public sphere.
What can Christians do when homosexuals, pro-choice supporters, Black-lives matter advocates, and anti-God watchdog groups are pervading the culture with their ideological agendas? Herald the Gospel to them all. What is the Gospel? The Gospel is the irrevocable message that unveils the character of God, the implications of sin, the person and work of Christ, and the necessity for repentance and faith.
“Being then God’s offspring, we ought not to think that the divine being is like gold or silver or stone, an image formed by the art and imagination of man. The times of ignorance God overlooked, but now he commands all people everywhere to repent, because he has fixed a day on which he will judge the world in righteousness by a man whom he has appointed; and of this he has given assurance to all by raising him from the dead (Acts 17:29-31).”
