The Deep Hypocrisy of Pelosi, Schumer and the Left – Death Throes of a Nation

Media is using sound bites and other optics made to look like a new, although un-elected, president and vice president have somehow emerged on the political scene.

Speaker Pelosi and Schumer are wallowing in the deepest hypocrisy seen in decades.

Citizens are dying at the hands of illegal immigrants and 800,000 federal workers are without pay, all the while the pair continues a waltz around Washington with sullen faces and hard rhetoric trying to mask their deep hatred for President Trump.

Democrats waste no time when strides are made to correct what is wrong with our nation. Just after one of the most successful and meaningful marches for life, Gov. Cuomo of New York, standing next to Hillary Clinton at Barnard College, announces that he will hold the budget of New York hostage unless they pass a law that allows abortions for any reason all the way to the day of birth.

Death by legislation or death by illegal aliens is all one glaring result of leftism gone wild. It is a symptom of the great sickness which results from moral apostasy.

It is stark hypocrisy to claim that a wall is “immoral” while we hear of Americans being slaughtered in their own cities and towns by illegals and unborn babies being wasted by the thousand due to indifference and selfishness.

The President has been fair in his offer and it is open to adjustments, but Pelosi and Schumer are delighted to continue with their power play at the expense of everyone.

Trump’s plan has offered a full spectrum of things to deal with the problem.

A three Year extension of TPS

Millions of dollars for humanitarian aid and drug detection

Three year relief for DACA recipients

2750 new border agents and law enforcement personnel

Seventy five new immigration judges

$5.7 billion dollars for building the wall

We have all heard of Sen Ted Cruz’s bill to use confiscated drug money to pay for the wall. We also have heard that the President could declare a national state of emergency and pull funds from other sources. Most of us are up for these and any other solutions that may ripen.

In the meantime, the paltry $5.7 billion the President is seeking for the wall is dwarfed and summarily overshadowed by the cost of illegal immigration in both lives and revenue.

In a report from the Federation for American Immigration Reform (FAIR) the cost for illegal immigration since 2014 is a staggering $115 billion dollars. Who is paying for this – yes, it is the American taxpayer.

Pelosi and Schumer would never admit that after spending only $5.7 billion on the wall that figure could be cut in half in only one year.

We have heard of hypocrisy among politicians, but this is hypocrisy on steroids. It is reprehensible behavior and a lie under the banner of freedom and open borders.

All rights and freedoms are denied to those killed by illegals and sticking a $115 billion dollar bill on the American taxpayer to clean up the mess is not freedom but rather it is usury and bondage to political irresponsibility.

Indeed Pelosi and Schumer should issue their own blue hat under the acronym, MAMA – for make America miserable again.

Pelosi and Schumer have made themselves a kind of terror against the American people, holding the presidency, the government and the American people as hostages.

It is high level confusion and low level hypocrisy by any definition.

“For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to the evil. Wilt thou then not be afraid of the power? do that which is good, and thou shalt have praise of the same.” (Romans 13:3)
