The attack on Christmas failed.

Despite the attempts to make the night silent, the attack on Christmas was unsuccessful. We celebrated it. On the radio—secular radio–we heard the words, “Oh come let us adore Him, Christ the Lord.” Hymns of praise to God were everywhere we went.

Stores were filled with Christian hymns. Christmas greetings filled the air. Celebration dinners, parties, Christmas cookies, family, and gifts. People decorated their homes, displayed lights and images of Jesus–celebrating His birth.

What if it was like that every day? My prayer for 2016 is that the love of God and the message of the Gospel permeates every area of our culture like it does at Christmas.
