‘They are dug-in.’

Those words from Justin Danhof, who attended Target’s shareholder’s meeting on Wednesday.

The transgender bathroom policy was raised by disgruntled shareholders, but CEO Brian Cornell refused to give a direct answer, speaking instead about “inclusion and diversity.” But when Danhof specifically asked if there had been any “financial effect” on Target since their announcement to let men into the ladies restrooms and fitting rooms, Target’s response was, “zero correlation, zero effect.”

Danhof, who said he left the meeting feeling like he had been called a bigot, summarized it by saying, “Target doesn’t want you as a customer, they don’t want you as an investor, they don’t want anything to do with you.”

I say, let’s give them what they want.
