America is being dismantled brick-by-brick.
- Red ink as far as the eye can see;
- Unrepentant homosexuals “praying” at a presidential inauguration;
- The Pledge of Allegiance forbidden;
- The Boy Scouts under attack;
- Christmas carols banned;
- The Ten Commandments stripped from public schools and federal buildings;
- Pornography saturates American society;
A sick nation, if it be in danger of death, suspects not its biblically illiterate people, but the politician. He that is oppressed by the State and Judiciary — what once a Christian nation — needs someone to blame besides himself, his apathy.
The condition of America lay at the feet of Evangelical Christians – the people are the sovereign in a Republic. “Politicians are actors performing a script that is written by the audience.” Russell Kirk
Seldom do politicians change the way they vote or act — or leave the stage — without a pink slip from the audience in the form of a ballot, delivered on Election Day.

In the Book of Judges, the people were faithful throughout the lifetime of Joshua and his generation, they had witnessed the great miracles of God. The next generation did not know God, nor remembered His miracles that founded the nation. This is America, three generations removed from George Washington.
George Washington describing the Battle of Monongahela in 1755, “As I have heard, since my arrival at this place, a circumstantial account of my death and dying speech, I take this early opportunity of contradicting the first, and of assuring you, that I have not as yet composed the latter. But by the All-Powerful Dispensations of Providence, I have been protected beyond all human probability or expectation; for I had four bullets through my coat, and two horses shot under me, yet escaped unhurt, although death was leveling my companions on every side of me!”…an Indian warrior later declared, “Washington was never born to be killed by a bullet! I had seventeen fair fires at him with my rifle and after all could not bring him to the ground!”
In a Republic we contrast Statesmen who use their offices for the good of the people, with politicians who use their offices to fill their personal treasure chest. The glory of a nation lies in its righteousness, not in its Gross Domestic Product. When and where did we leave the main highway? How could we be so deceived? “Righteousness exalts a nation, sin is a reproach to any people.”
This generation is about to learn a lesson that can be learned in no other way. “Heathenism is cruel. It is not changed in character since the days when parents made their children to pass through fire to Moloch.” John Hambleton
Hitler killed 5-6M Jews, 1.8M Poles, 1M Serbians, and an estimated 1M-2M others; that’s a lot of folk, but that number represents only around 20% of the babies killed in their mothers womb in America — 60M.
Freedom requires truth and virtue, the glory of a nation rests in its righteousness, not in its military might or economic prowess.
Let’s make this clear, it was Christianity — not paganism, “religious neutrality” or secularism — which produced freedom and lawfulness in America.
What President Obama has birthed — with Executive Orders and Imperial Decrees — is anarchy; when anarchy is touring, tyrants are in power. Every citizen is subject to the law except, seemingly, President Barack Hussein Obama; in this case the ruler is above the law.
The weeds that President Obama has sown leads to widespread, systemic, violations of the law, which brings on lawlessness as its natural consequence and its fitting punishment, and with lawlessness comes a multiplicity of rulers and factions.* — Salt kills weeds, “You are the salt of the earth.” Lord Jesus Christ
Americans total break with Jehovah has ominous ramifications, we are wearing the fool’s coat. There is no safety in distance from God.
Alexander Tytler (d. 1813) believed that democratic forms of government — like ancient Greece and Rome — have a natural evolution from initial virtue toward eventual corruption and decline: “Patriotism always exists in the greatest degree in rude nations, and in an early period of society. Like all other affections and passions, it operates with the greatest force where it meets with the greatest difficulties … but in a state of ease and safety, as if wanting its appropriate nourishment, it languishes and decays.” … “It is a law of nature to which no experience has ever furnished an exception, that the rising grander and opulence of a nation must be balanced by the decline of its heroic virtues.”
What about a society that became so successful and resource-rich that it began to credit itself for the accomplishments rather than an ‘outside source of energy — God? What if this ‘great society’ even began to redefine the past to make history in education more consistent with present human self-glorification? What if this society began to reinterpret not only history, but also the law, so that the separation of church and state should become not a protection of religion but a separation and isolation of religion as a clearer target for discrimination? What, if through political, academic, and legal means, the role or meaning of God were removed from public places — such as in courthouses, parks, and schools — and this action was favorably portrayed by the media as smart and good?”
“American Exceptionalism” and “The greatest export of America is democratic capitalism” come to mind.
What do we do? One: Every Bible-believing Christian must be registered to vote — and vote — in 2014 and two. “Let the priests, the ministers of the LORD, weep between the porch and the altar, and let them say, Spare thy people, O LORD, and give not thine heritage to reproach, that the heathen should rule over them: wherefore should they say among the people, Where is their God?” Joel 2:17
“Tears have a tongue, and grammar, and language, that our Father knoweth. Babes have no prayer for the breast, but weeping: the mother can read hunger in weeping.” Samuel Rutherford
