Schumer & Pelosi Dared to Help Protect Border by Border Patrol Union VP

Weak Republicans like Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell have rolled over and played dead for the Democrats who are still in the minority. McConnell announced that he would lead the Senate to pass a spending bill that would NOT include any funding for President Trump’s promised border wall.

It’s infuriating because Republicans still have the majority of both the Senate and House and if they were loyal to Trump and the American people, they could easily pass a spending bill that includes funding for the border wall, but they are afraid of the Democrats and figured it was best to cower in the corner like the cowards they are rather than listen to the majority of the American people.

Prior to McConnell’s betrayal of his President and supporters (I live in northern Kentucky will never vote for him ever again), the Border Patrol union dared both Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer and House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi to come help the Border Patrol and walk in their shoes for a day, but you know that will never happen.

Back when Jan Brewer was Governor of Arizona, she repeatedly invited Barack Obama to come tour the Arizona-Mexico border with her and Obama refused every invitation. It’s easier to turn a blind eye to the real problem being faced by many Americans by ignoring them and pretending they don’t exist. Kind of like the old myth about ostrich’s burying their heads in the sand when danger presents itself.

Trending: 1 Person More Responsible for Govt. Shutdown Than Trump or Democrats

A week ago, the post appeared:

“Border Patrol Union Vice President Art Del Cueto discussed President Trump’s promised border wall on Fox Business this week, and it’s clear he’s not impressed with Chuck and Nancy’s performance at the White House Tuesday.”

“Cueto explained how a massive ‘border loophole’ in the immigration system allows scores of so-called asylum seekers to skip out on court proceedings to live in America illegally. The ‘false asylum claims’ also clog the system, and wait times to see an immigration judge are now approaching a year, he said.”

“‘I say false asylum claims because if you’re not even bothering to show up to your court case, you pretty much know your case is weak,’ he said. ‘In addition, we see these individuals entering the country illegally. It just keeps adding and adding and adding. There’s a lot of red flags to it’.”

“Fox Business host Liz MacDonald posed the question: ‘Have you ever heard Nancy Pelosi or Chuck Schumer or any Democrat talk about this massive loophole?’”

“Cueto cut to the chase:”

“No, I heard some of the words that they said … when they were attacking the president and attacking the wall, and you know what? Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer, they can come down here and help us patrol the border and I’ll show them how difficult and how dangerous it really is, and how that wall makes a difference.”

First, I want to remind everyone that America’s laws on asylum seekers does not cover people trying to escape their poverty or violent gangs.

Second, the American people are already spending over $100 billion a YEAR for everything associated with the illegal aliens already in the country. It seems ironic that to Democrats, it’s better spend $100 billion a year than it is for a one-time expenditure of $5 billion to $25 billion for a wall that would greatly reduce the number illegal aliens and illegal and dangerous drugs entering the country.

Third and more importantly, every Democrat should be forced to explain to the American people why they are more concerned and willing to do more for illegal aliens (many of which have criminal records) than they do for American citizens. If you ask me, the behavior of Democrats in this area is bordering on treason.
