School Criticized for Curtaining Off Male Student in Girl’s Showers

U.S. Department of Education has launched a complaint against an Illinois school district because of the school’s refusal to allow a biological male student, who is gender confused and demanding that he be allowed to change in the open area of the students’ female only locker room.

Currently this student is permitted inside the female locker room and may change in a curtained-off area. But he considers this accommodation to be insufficient.

The Federal office claims the school is in violation of Title IX, which prohibits discrimination based on sex or gender…
