Special Counsel Robert Mueller has submitted his final report to the Justice Department.
Democrats are calling for the release of the full report.
President Trump and some Republicans are also calling for the release of the full report.
However, other Republicans only want the ‘scope memo’ released and one of those is Rep. Devin Nunes, (R-CA).
Nunes is the ranking Republican on the House Intelligence Committee.
Nunes is also vowing to see who was responsible for the Mueller probe and hold them accountable, meaning that those Democrats who pushed for the Special Counsel probe should start to get nervous about the role they played.
Washington Examiner – Devin Nunes: No rest until Mueller scope memo released, ‘dirty cops’ rounded up – Rep. Devin Nunes isn’t celebrating special counsel Robert Mueller’s submission of his final report to the Justice Department.
Calling for full transparency, the ranking member of the House Intelligence Committee amplified his demand to see the scope memo for the years-long investigation, going further than Democrats calling for the release of the full Mueller report for the public to see.
“I don’t think Republicans or any American should be celebrating anything to do with Mueller. Okay? It’s fine. He’s not going to indict anymore people. There are a whole bunch of indictments that are awful. What happened to these people is terrible,” Nunes, R-Calif, said Saturday evening on Fox News. “We need to see the origins of this investigation. We don’t even know what Robert Mueller was supposed to be looking at.” …
It seems obvious by now that Mueller found nothing with which to indict Donald Trump with, proving that Trump was right all along when he called it a witch hunt.
Nunes is also right in that those responsible for the Mueller investigation should be investigated and if possible, prosecuted for what they did and for wasting millions of taxpayer dollars and holding a dark cloud over America for nearly 2 years.
This could well end the political careers of some Democrats and even some RINOs, which is okay with me.
