As the Supreme Court ignored the Constitution and the founding principles of our nation regarding marriage, this is forcing religions and churches to clarify and reiterate their position on homosexual conduct.

One of the most recent to do so is the Mormon Church, which welcomes those with same sex attractions, it says, but if they are involved in a same-sex marriage or relationship, they are considered an apostate.

Also, they will not baptize children of those involved in homosexual conduct until they are 18 years old and they renounce homosexuality.

Similar actions are being taken by many protestant denominations, who are codifying their positions of exclusive support for natural marriage within their denominations and other governing documents.
