Planning on some juicy burgers or maybe steak on the grill this weekend? The US Department of Agriculture has some advice – stop at your bank first and get a loan before heading to the meat counter – you’re gonna need it.
A recent USDA report cited drought conditions in California, Texas and Oklahoma driving beef prices to record highs – over a 10% increase in the first four months of 2014. At this rate, prices for veal and beef would double in just over two years!
So, while you’re out grilling those turkey dogs commit to pray for relief for farmers and food producers in California, Texas and Oklahoma. Ask God to bring rain to these drought-stricken areas.
Then, thank God who supplies the rain, and every provision.
