Prager University, also known as PragerU has filed a federal lawsuit in California against Google and YouTube for censoring its educational videos.
We’re going to be talking about this on Faith and Freedom. I’m Mat Staver, Founder and Chairman of Liberty Counsel, joining me is Matt Barber, the Founder of BarbWire.com, and Holly Meade, the Director of Communications for Liberty Counsel.
Mat Staver: This lawsuit, Matt, charges that YouTube, which is owned by Google, used its restricted filtering as a political gag mechanism to silence PragerU.

What they mean is that YouTube has a censoring mode, and some of the censoring mode might flag them that are pornographic or violent or not appropriate for certain age children. And then, if you on your receiving end have some kind of filtering system on your computer, particularly public libraries, you will not be able to see those.
Well, that’s nice if you ultimately put in those categories the right thing. If something is pornographic, yea, you can put it in the pornographic category, and then the person who wants to filter that…
