Over the past couple of years, many Democrats in Washington DC blamed their loss of control of the House.
Many of the Pelosi dissidents were the younger Democrats who saw Pelosi as more of a liability to the party than an asset.
That is why so many people were surprised when House Democrats voted to make Pelosi the Speaker again.
After freshman House Democrat was caught making her second anti-Semitic statement, a resolution was introduced in the House that would condemn anti-Semitic speech.
Ever since the resolution was submitted, a growing number of younger Democrats are coming to Ilhan Omar’s defense, which is casing a rebellion within the Democratic Party and against Pelosi.
Fox News – Rank-and-file Dems revolt against Pelosi over resolution to condemn anti-Semitism – House Speaker Nancy Pelosi is “taken aback” by the growing dissent and anger among rank-and-file Democrats over a possible resolution to formally condemn anti-Semitism, a Democratic source told Fox News on Wednesday — highlighting Pelosi’s tenuous grip on control over the House and underscoring the growing power of the party’s nascent far-left progressive wing.
Pelosi even reportedly walked out of a meeting Wednesday with Democrat House members, setting down her microphone and telling attendees, “Well if you’re not going to listen to me, I’m done talking.”
The stalled resolution originated after freshman Democratic Rep. Ilhan Omar of Minnesota, for at least the second time in recent months, ignited an uproar for echoing tropes critics have deemed anti-Semitic. In February, she suggested on Twitter that supporters of Israel have been bought. The congresswoman then accused American supporters of Israel of pushing people to have “allegiance to a foreign country.” …
Perhaps one of the best things that could happen now is for the Democrats in the House to splinter into factions that fight and differ amongst themselves.
The only problem with that is the fact that the younger group of Democrats that are rebelling are more far-left and socialist than the older ones.
If they gain control, America will fall into the clutches of socialism even faster.
Personally, I see all of this as being the death throes of a dying nation.
