Old Jewish Guys for America

I saw a rep of a group called Moms for America interviewed on FOX News today. If they’re for America, I’m for them. This inspired me to start my own group – Old Jewish Guys for America. Membership is open to all who subscribe to the following:

1- That America is the greatest country on earth and a blessing to humanity.

2- That America was founded on the Judeo-Christian ethic as set forth in the Christian Bible and Torah.

3- That Biblical principles should animate out laws and institutions.

4- That innocent human life is sacred, from conception to natural death.

5- That the fates of Israel and America are intertwined. A strong America means a strong Israel. That whoever blesses Israel will himself be blessed.

6- That like any other sovereign state, America has a right – and a duty – to defend its borders.

7- That the family is the cradle of civilization – “the natural and fundamental group unit of society,” in the words of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.

8- That patriotism requires us to respect the flag, honor those who’ve served – or are serving – and be willing to make any sacrifice to preserve and protect our nation.

9- That a government big enough to give us everything we want is big enough to take everything we have.

10- That the U.S. Constitution created the best form of government yet devised by the mind of man. As we’ve strayed from its principles, despotism has grown.

The older I get, the more I believe this.
