Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez has already been accused of campaign finance violations, although with Democrats in control of the House, it seems those allegations are being swept under their dirty rug.
In what could be her third campaign finance violation, Ocasio-Cortez has apparently used the old bait-and-switch method to dupe people out of the money.
Saturday, AOC sponsored a Family Rub Run, billed to support her Green New Deal environmental program.
After the run was over, it was revealed that the registration fees paid by the runners, a total of $11,000, went directly to her campaign fund.

The Lid – Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez Pulls A Campaign Donation Bait And Switch – Boy oh boy, that did not take long. Despite AOC’s lack of knowledge of significant issues and tendency to always say the dumbest thing at the worst time, Freshman Democratic Socialist Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez seemed to have an idealism about her ignorant policies, but after only four months in Washington D.C., she has become a typical swampy politician. As first reported by the NY Post AOC pulled a campaign fundraising bait and switch as participants in a fun run she organized were unaware their registration fee was going towards her campaign.
The event on Saturday was billed as a family fun run supporting Ocasio-Cortez’s Green New Deal,’ but a spokesman later revealed it was a campaign fundraiser.
“The site says it’s to benefit her environmental plan,” said one supporter who would not give his name. “If it is going to go directly to her campaign they should have said so.” …
Bait-and-switch has been ruled illegal in advertising and business transactions.
It has also been an issue with posting something online with a title designed to draw people to the post, only to find out the title had nothing directly to do with what was posted.
Hopefully, someone will finally have the fortitude to pursue her campaign finance violations and questionable ethics like using bait-and-switch to raise campaign funds and hold her accountable for her actions.
