Once again we are in the midst of controversy involving Islam and whether Comrade Barack Obama is a Muslim or not. At the center of this is a Donald Trump rally where a questioner asked, “We’ve got a problem in this country. It’s called Muslims. You know our current President is one. You know he’s not even an American.”
And because Trump didn’t answer by calling the guy a bigot and a moron and endlessly insist that Obama is a Christian, we are now treated to endless denunciations from Obama sycophants who tell us questioning Obama’s Christianity is racist. Every time someone questions Obama’s Christianity, we are told that it is the job of elected Republicans to affirm that Obama is in fact a Christian. Oddly, we are never told why this is to be the case. No one ever explains why elected Republicans are burdened with the affirmation of Obama as a Christian.
There is real uncertainty in people’s minds as to whether Obama is Christian or Muslim. That doubt isn’t going away just because you call people bigots for wondering. They never consider that Obama’s own actions may further the idea he’s a Muslim.
Does the media really think no one notices that Obama only half-heartedly criticizes Islamists who wage jihad against the West? Do they think no one notices his use of the White House to celebrate every Islamic holiday on the calendar (even the ones no one’s heard of)? Do they think no one notices his never-ending denunciations of the Crusaders and moral equivocations to excuse Islamic enemies of the West?
If there’s anyone to blame for the lingering suspicion that Obama is a Muslim, it is Obama himself. He inserts praise for Islam into places where it doesn’t belong: such as the founding of the United States.
He once said, “What I was suggesting – you’re absolutely right that John McCain has not talked about my Muslim faith. And you’re absolutely right that that has not come.” He had to be corrected by ABC’s/Clinton’s George Stephanopoulos to say, “Christian faith.” There’s also this from Nicholas Kristof of the New York Times from 2007,
Mr. Obama recalled the opening lines of the Arabic call to prayer, reciting them with a first-rate accent. In a remark that seemed delightfully uncalculated (it’ll give Alabama voters heart attacks), Mr. Obama described the call to prayer as “one of the prettiest sounds on Earth at sunset.”
Meanwhile, he thumbs Christians in the eye every chance he gets. From his contraceptive mandates to his claims that Christians are “bitter clingers” to his dragging out the Crusades to make excuses for Islamists to his guest list for the upcoming papal visit, Obama’s contempt for the followers of Jesus Christ is well-documented. Not to mention his push for legitimacy for homosexuality and transgenderism, known to be unbiblical behaviors.
And does anyone who says “God bless Planned Parenthood,” shrouds the White House in the LGBT symbol of hate and contempt on the day Anthony Kennedy invented a constitutional right to same-sex unions, and sees the government as an instrument to pillage hardworking Americans to prop up those who don’t work and willfully engage in a Stalinesque purge of political opponents really engaging in Christ-like behavior?
Before you denounce Donald Trump for not pushing back on that questioner in New Hampshire, look at Barack Obama and his actions as president. Just ask yourself, do you see Christ in him or Mohammed?
