Washington, DC – When Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu addressed the American Israeli Political Action Committee (AIPAC), he began his speech by saying: “I bring you greetings from Jerusalem – the eternal, undivided capital of Israel and the Jewish people.” He continued: “You know that I like to draw lines – especially red ones. But the line I want to draw today is the line between life and death, between right and wrong, between the blessings of a brilliant future and the curses of a dark past.” Netanyahu later addressed the Iranian problem, pointing out that Iran is seeking to obtain Intercontinental Ballistic Missiles (ICBM) it intends to direct to the United States.
Warned Prime Minister Netanyahu:
So why does it continue to build ICBMs, intercontinental ballistic missiles, whose only purpose is to carry nuclear warheads?
See, unlike Scud missiles, that are limited to a range of a few hundred miles, ICBMs can cross vast oceans. And they can strike, right now or very soon, the Eastern seaboard of the United States — Washington — and very soon after that, everywhere else in the United States, up to L.A.
“Behind smiling faces, Iran is building a nuclear program capable of reaching the United States,” said Mat Staver, Founder and Chairman of Liberty Counsel. “The U.S. needs to stop being naive about Iran’s intentions and put pressure on Iran to prevent this terrorist regime from further developing a nuclear bomb.”
Prime Minister Netanyahu reaffirmed that the American-Israeli alliance is in the interest of the entire world. “I want to thank all of you for working so tirelessly to strengthen the alliance between Israel and America. American support for Israel and for that alliance is at an all-time high. And I can tell you that there is no country on earth that is more pro-American than Israel,” Netanyahu said.
“Now more than ever, Israel needs America and America needs Israel,” said Mat Staver. “America needs to put pressure on Iran to end its nuclear program. We must stand with Israel,” Staver said.
