My Prayer for 2016

We saw a lot happen in 2015 – a lot that wasn’t good. ISIS attacks and Christian persecution. We saw the Supreme Court override the expressed will of 50 million American voters and redefine marriage out of thin air. It was used as the basis for sending Kentucky Clerk Kim Davis to jail when she refused to participate.

Aaron and Melissa Klein were fined $135,000 for refusing to make a lesbian so-called “wedding” cake.

But (in John 16:33), Jesus said, “I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.”

My prayer is that 2016 will be the year that Christians stand up and overcome the assault on Christian lives and our freedoms.
