There is no question that Donald Trump is one of the most controversial Presidents in American history.
The reason for much of the controversy surrounding him revolves around his doing what presidents before him should have been doing but didn’t have the guts to do.
One of Trump’s most controversial agenda items is to build a border wall along the entire 1,954 miles of the US – Mexico border.
The media would have you believe that few Americans support building a border wall, but then you have to realize that the mainstream media is not known for telling the truth when it comes to the right and patriotic things.
Exit polls taken during this year’s midterm elections indicate that in fact, the majority of Americans do want the border wall to be built.
The National Sentinel – Midterm exit polls show majorities want POTUS Trump’s border wall – Build It: In politics, there are very few lay-ups when it comes to finding issues most Americans agree on, but POTUS Donald Trump hit upon one during his 2016 campaign: Building a “big, beautiful wall” along the U.S. border with Mexico to curb illegal immigration and drug trafficking.
And according to midterm exit polling, it’s still a political lay-up.
Exit polling conducted by Zogby Analytics for the Federation for American Immigration Reform (FAIR) found that the vast majority of Republican voters — more than 80 percent — favor the construction of a border wall along the southern border.
Less than five percent of Republicans oppose a border wall…
I still contend that Trump could build the border wall for half the projective cost.
We have a number of military units that have been busy building facilities, infrastructure, roads and more in countries that hate America.
Since these construction troops are already being paid, why not have them build the wall, thus saving up to half the cost of the wall, saving taxpayers billions of dollars.
Additionally, instead of having our military protecting foreign borders, why not have them protect our borders fully armed and with instructions to stop all invaders with appropriate force when necessary.
