Migrant Caravan Heading to No Wall Open Border in Texas

Democrats continue to say there is no need for a border wall as President Donald Trump desires to build.

Over the past couple of years, the many migrant caravans that have marched hundreds and even thousands of miles to the US border, usually end up at one of the normal ports of entry.

The US has been informed by Mexican authorities that a caravan of about 2,000 migrants from Central America (and who knows where else) are heading to an area in Texas that has no border wall, no border fencing and is wide open.

Breitbart – Thousands in Migrant Caravan Head to Open Texas Border Stretch with No Walls or Fences – Mexican authorities in two border states announced the arrival of nearly 2,000 Central American migrants who are part of a caravan headed for the border cities Piedras Negras and Nuevo Laredo. The area between those two municipalities does not feature any type of fencing or barriers like the ones a previous caravan encountered in California.

State officials in Coahuila announced the arrival of more than 1,700 members of a migrant caravan that recently left Honduras. They are slated to be ferried by bus to the Texas border. The Nuevo Leon government is preparing shelters and security.

The migrants are traveling with the intent to request asylum on U.S. soil, thus making any detention by border authorities irrelevant. The group is expected in Eagle Pass and Laredo, Texas, however, since the region lacks any fencing or physical barriers, some could successfully storm the border with little effort…

If I were President, I would be ordering an immediate deployment of as many US troops as possible to that area of the border.

I would give them orders to stop any and all migrants from crossing into the United States.

Our nation is under an invasion that we cannot afford or tolerate.

If these people have no regard for our immigration laws, then there is no reason to expect them to have any regard for any other laws of our nation.

Additionally, as has been proven in the past, there is the likelihood that violent criminals and gang members are among the caravan and we don’t need them in the country.
