Democratic senators on the Judiciary Committee first demanded an FBI investigation by the FBI on the accusations of sexual misconduct made against Brett Kavanaugh by a number of women.
Their demand came at the last minute before a confirmation vote and was seen as nothing more than a delaying tactic, especially since they new about the allegations a couple months earlier.
The FIB conducted an investigation, but Democrats still complained saying the FBI investigation was thorough enough.
It’s now been revealed that a separate investigation, which included interviews with over 40 people, provided not one shred of evidence that verifiably proved that Kavanaugh was guilty of any of the charges.
Fox News – An investigation into sexual misconduct allegations against Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh by multiple women found that no witnesses could provide evidence to substantiate their claims, a letter to Senate Republicans from the Senate Judiciary Committee chairman said Friday.
According to the 414-page report released by Sen. Chuck Grassley, R-Iowa, investigators interviewed more than 40 people, monitored social media and news reports and reviewed evidence provided by the judge and his accusers.
“Following the separate and extensive investigations by both the Committee and the FBI, there was no evidence to substantiate any of the claims of sexual assault made against Justice Kavanaugh,” the report states.
The sexual misconduct allegations came during the committee’s hearings to decide whether Kavanaugh, whom President Trump nominated in July to succeed retiring Justice Anthony Kennedy, would be confirmed…
This second, more thorough investigation followed every lead and left no stone unturned and still there was nothing convicting found that could be used against Kavanaugh.
The investigation also stated that due to a number of contradictory statements and other questionable findings, that accuser Julie Swetnick and her attorney Michael Avenatti criminally conspired to make the false accusations against Brett Kavanaugh in an effort to obstruct justice.
If these claims can be proven, it’s possible that Swetnick and Avenatti could and probably should face criminal charges.
Now ask why none of the mainstream media outlets are carrying this news???
