Faith and Freedom with Liberty Counsel’s Mat Staver and Holly Meade, and BarbWire.com Founder Matt Barber… An 11-minute weekday radio program discussing hot topics in the area of religious liberty, the sanctity of human life and the family.

As so many people ask the question, ‘How can we make schools safe?’ and there are people who want to restrict the Second Amendment. I think we ought to look at the law enforcement that failed miserably. Multiple times the Broward County Sheriff’s Department, under the leadership of, if you will, Scott Israel. A person, I believe, who ought to resign. We’re going to be talking about it on Faith and Freedom.

I’m Mat Staver, Founder and Chairman of Liberty Counsel, joining me is Matt Barber, founder of BarbWire.com, and Holly Meade, the Director of Communications for Liberty Counsel.

Mat Staver: Well, shockingly, every day some new disturbing revelation occurs. We first heard about the 39 calls to the sheriff’s department or that the sheriff’s department was called to the house of this shooter. We now know that this same young man actually called 911 on himself! And he actually said how he was going through so many problems with the death of his mother. And yet nothing happened! Nobody intervened…
