Last year, the Trump administration issued a ban on allowing transgender people from serving in the military.
Part of the reason was to avoid problems and issues between service personnel in field.
It didn’t take long for a liberal judge to block the Trump administration ban, just like so many other liberal judges have been doing.
On Tuesday, the Supreme Court issued a temporary stay on the Trump transgender ban, allowing the ban to go back into force, at least until they issue a permanent ruling.
Naturally, liberals and transgenders are in an uproar over the ruling, but that’s to be expected.
The Hill – Duckworth calls Supreme Court decision on transgender military ban ‘disheartening’ – Sen. Tammy Duckworth (D-Ill.) on Tuesday criticized the Supreme Court’s decision to allow the Trump administration to temporarily enforce restrictions on transgender people serving in the military.
Duckworth, an Iraq War veteran, in a series of tweets called the decision “disheartening” and urged the court to make clear “that this sort of discrimination has no place in our military.”
“Today’s decision is disheartening not only because it will help the Trump Administration discriminate against an ever-shrinking portion of our population who are willing to serve in uniform, but also because it enables the Administration to further disrupt to our military and weaken our national security,” Duckworth tweeted…
I have a number of friends and contacts in the military and the vat majority of them are against allowing transgenders or homosexuals to serve in the military.
One Afghan vet told me that being in a warzone is stressful enough, but having to worry if the person serving next to you is a homosexual or transgender is a stress that not’s necessary.
Another reported that he has witnessed how having an LGBT person serving in the same squad causes division and a lack of trust.
Trust of one’s fellow soldier is often critical to the survival of the entire squad.
