And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. (Matthew 24:6)
In light of the violent protests of the past weekend and the subsequent assassination of police officers on the streets of America’s cities I think we are all worried about continued uprisings.
Take heart friends, for God has not given us the spirit of fear. (2 Timothy 1-7)
The heathen will rage, they always have. (Psalm 2)
For the heroes who lost their lives that night in service to their communities I offer my sincerest prayers.
Blessed are the peacemakers; for they shall be called the children of God (Matthew 5:9)
Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends. (John 15:13)
Murderous maniacs are being created in our society; radicalized in no small part by the rhetoric of our elected officials. They are very subtly being told to burn it all to the ground and sinful man is all too willing to heed the call for chaos.
Rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft. (1 Samuel 15:23)
Violence is not a scriptural response to perceived injustices. (Ephesians 4:26)
Hatred is not an emotion that is sanctioned by God.(1 John 4:20, Romans 12:19)
Murder is not heroism. (1 John 3:12)
Wars and rumors of wars abound and always have. Sometimes it feels as if everything is going to fall apart any day and World War 3 of Civil War 2 is about to erupt; and it might. War is a terrible thing that most of us can never have a true understanding of, having been raised in times of relative peace. War, however, is an institution that has, throughout the centuries, been sanctioned by God to obliterate those who refused to obey Him.
Sadly, without the Civil War, which turned brother against brother, the United States would not have been the nation to finally end slavery.
Without war, Nazi Germany and Imperial Japan would likely be ruling the entire globe today and the people of Israel would have been exterminated.
God’s will is sometimes achieved with the deaths of men who refuse to hear his voice.
However, it has been a long time since God has sanctioned a war. The senseless killings that powerful men perpetrate to further their own agendas are not based on the precepts of God’s Word.
The spirits that drive their political agendas are Greed, Power and Control. (Ephesians 6:12)
This agenda is being forced upon the American people by the ruling class to achieve their godless goals. The unlearned, those that slumber still, don’t see it and cannot without their spiritual eyes being opened. (Acts 9:18)
Don’t take the race-bait that emulates from the White House and the Liberal Progressives as a whole. They leave a trail of corpses as they drive their Alinsky-esque juggernaut forward. Their anti-Christian doctrine is spiritual wickedness in high places. Their fight is not a righteous one, but a devilish one, designed to divide and conquer America and hand it to foreign entities. (Mark 3:25, Psalm 2:1-12)
Christianity is being eradicated.
“Equality” is becoming inequality.
Hatred is being called love.
Love is being called hate.
Criminals are being called heroes and heroes and being called villains. (Isaiah 5:20)
A man’s skin color has nothing to do with the Spirit of God that either dwells in his redeemed heart, or does not. (Romans 10:12) White men do not get a free pass through the pearly gates and people of color are not to be esteemed above (or below) other men. The poor are not to be esteemed above the rich, nor the rich above the poor. (Leviticus 19:15)
We are all worms in God’s sight, we are equal as sinners, we equally need to beg his forgiveness and we equally need to show forth the attributes of Christ. ( Luke 13:3)
God is no respecter of persons. (Romans 2;11) Neither are pandering politicians, regardless of what they say.
They will throw around the word “Christian” and even twist scripture to suit their agenda all day long. (2 Corinthians 11:14)
We are to be wise and mark those who cause division among the brethren. (Romans 16:17) As true Christ followers we are to strive for unity amongst the brethren (Psalm 133:1) and, though it may sound harsh, Jesus said, let the dead bury their dead. (Luke 9:60)
The separation is coming.
The sheep from the goats.
There are only two sides.
No in-betweeners hope.
Goats rising up to exterminate sheep, with guns, phones, or pens; doesn’t make them sheep. It makes them rebellious, violent, hateful murderers. Regardless of race, the love of God was never in them.
There will come a day when bloody warfare is once again required and sanctioned by God to purge the land of sin, in fact, that is ultimately our end. (Revelation 19:11-16, 19-21)
That time is not now and wicked men are not the leaders of that final battle.
Not of the winning side anyway.
