On his first day as Kentucky’s Governor-Elect, Matt Bevin, announced his plan to remove the names of county clerks from marriage licenses in Kentucky.

Our client Kim Davis has requested this solution for months. And this will be a clear, simple victory for all the legal efforts on behalf of Kim Davis, who has refused to sign marriage licenses since the Supreme Court’s ruling.

The people of Kentucky have spoken overwhelmingly in support of Kim Davis. All people should be able to live out their faith without fear of being put in prison. This promise allows her to do her job without compromising her deeply held religious convictions.
