Over the past couple of years, Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA), has been the loudest accuser of President Donald Trump.
On more than one occasion, Schiff has publicly claimed that he had evidence proving that Trump colluded with Russia to interfere and sway the 2016 election.
After Mueller’s final report fully cleared Trump of any collusion, a number of Republicans are beginning to wonder if Schiff had the evidence he claimed to have, then why didn’t he give that evidence to Mueller?
Since Trump was exonerated of any collusion, White House adviser Kellyanne Conway is calling on Schiff to resign for peddling lies about Trump.
Fox News – Adam Schiff ‘ought to resign today’ for ‘peddling a lie’ about Trump and Russia: Kellyanne Conway – House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff “ought to resign today” for “peddling a lie, day after day after day, unchallenged and not under oath” that the Trump campaign colluded with Russia in the 2016 presidential election, White House adviser Kellyanne Conway said.
Conway ripped the California Democrat and longtime critic of the president on ‘Fox & Friends’ Monday following the release of a letter from Attorney General Bill Barr stating that Special Counsel Robert Mueller “did not find that the Trump campaign or anyone associated with it conspired or coordinated with Russia.”
“He ought to resign today,” Conway said about Schiff. “He’s been on every TV show 50 times a day for practically the last two years, promising Americans that this president would either be impeached or indicted.” …
Many believe that either Nancy Pelosi or Maxine Waters are the two biggest Trump haters in the House, but I’ve contended for over a year that Schiff holds that position (note that all three are from California).
I agree that Schiff should resign from his position as Chair of the House Intelligence Committee and from his position as a Representative.
Additionally, I believe that Trump should file a defamation of character lawsuit against Schiff on the grounds that he slandered Trump with his accusations that appear to have been nothing more than hate-drive lies.
