Kavanaugh’s Accuser Tries Second Delay Tactic

In my opinion, the sudden refusal of Christine Blasey Ford to testify before a congressional hearing on Monday is nothing more than a second attempt to delay the confirmation of Judge Brett Kavanaugh.

Her letter accusing Kavanaugh of the sexual assault was written 3 months ago, but not made known until the week of the confirmation vote by the Senate Judiciary Committee.

Initially, it appeared that Ford had agreed to the testimony on Monday, but after it was learned that committee still planned to vote on Kavanaugh later in the week, she suddenly says she won’t testify until a full FBI investigation has been made.

Everyone knows that such an FBI investigation would take weeks placing the confirmation vote AFTER the midterms, making her refusal look like another delay tactic designed to allow Democrats to block the confirmation after the midterm elections are over.

(Fox News) – Christine Blasey Ford, the California professor claiming Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh sexually assaulted her more than 35 years ago, late Tuesday demanded a “full investigation” by the FBI before she attends any congressional hearing or “interrogation” into her accusations.

In response, Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley, who said Ford is still invited to speak to the committee, countered that “nothing the FBI or any other investigator does would have any bearing on what Dr. Ford tells the committee, so there is no reason for any further delay.”

Lisa Banks, one of Ford’s lawyers, told CNN that her client “will talk to the committee,” but she is not prepared for the hearing on Monday.

She said her client has been faced with threats and she has been figuring out how to protect her family…

What every Republican on the Senate Judiciary Committee and in the rest of the Senate need to point out is that proven adultery was not enough for Democrats to remove Bill Clinton from office.

In fact, Democrats at the time of Bill Clinton’s impeachment, supported him and often said his personal life should have no bearing on his ability to be President.

If that was true for Clinton then, it should still be true for Kavanaugh today.

Besides how many of us, including most of the screaming Democrats, did dumb things when in high school or college?

If we were all judged based upon our behavior back in our school days, many of us, including the Democrats in office, would all be out of work and homeless.
