Your Invasion update: Another weekend in a nation under invasion…what’s not to love? Some of the latest landmarks on our sovereignty’s downward spiral include:
1) A Border Patrol agent reveals illegal immigrants’ mantra, “Obama will take care of us.” In an interview with WND and Rep. Steve Stockman of Texas, Agent Chris Cabrera says it seems they are prepared to game the system the moment they arrive.
“I don’t usually get into the political part of it, but I find it odd that their whole thing is, ‘We are going to get amnesty when we get here. Where is my permiso? Where is my permission to go north so I can get my medical care and my schooling and all that? President Obama is going to take care of us and make sure we’re all OK.’
Trending: Is the Church Becoming Too Political?
“Whether it’s the adults or the young kids, one thing we consistently hear is, ‘Obama will take care of us,’” Cabrera said.
Well, a lot of needy Americans thought that very same thing in 2008…perhaps the illegal immigrants can ask them how that turned out? You need something to talk about while waiting in the welfare line.
2) The President of Honduras says it’s America’s fault his citizens are invading our country. In an interview with Politico, Honduran President Juan Orlando Hernández blames America’s drug habits for creating the violence in the hemisphere and says it’s America’s “responsibility” to invest in Central American economies.
“A Central America at peace, with less drug violence, and with opportunities, is a great investment for the United States. It is a great benefit, not a cost.
On the contrary, if they are only investing in border security and not in the source of the problem, in the genesis of the problem, then we will have more of the same.… Of course for us it’s uncomfortable and frustrating knowing that our neighbor isn’t doing its part.”
Now, how to do that? That’s through shared responsibility. The United States is responsible, Central America is responsible, and Mexico is responsible. We have assumed our commitment [as in “responsibility”] and our visit today requires talking with leaders in Washington and structuring a plan dividing that responsibility.”
Yes, we should ask the President of 4th poorest country in the hemisphere, and home to the murder capital of the world, how we should “share responsibility” for our invasion. Is a blank check alright?
3) Honduras’ president might want to talk with Mexico about the “shared responsibility” plan. Because they’re refusing to pay for what their citizens cost our counties. In fact, they paid one sheriff in Ohio with death threats:
Butler County Sheriff Richard Jones said Friday that he sent a letter to Mexican President Enrique Pena Nieto, charging him for all the illegals in his jail.
What happened next? The Ohio sheriff told Dana Loesch: “The federal government sends me a letter and said I violated a treaty of like, 1790.”
When Loesch asked for more information, Jones continued: “I sent him a bill for the prisoners that are in my jail. They came here illegally. I’ve not gotten any money from them, but I billed them so much. And I’ll tell you what I got in return: my life was threatened.”
Jones said he got a call from the FBI saying there were three sheriffs in the country that were going to be killed by the drug cartels, and he was one of the three.
To review, the Federal Guv’ment will call out a sheriff in Ohio for breaking a 224-year old treaty, but won’t protect his county from invasion by foreign criminals (in fact, they facilitate it!)?
When it’s happening in Ohio and Iowa, it’s no longer a “Border Crisis.” Now it’s just a foreign invasion. With domestic accomplices.
How to kill the GOP with one email
Ding-dong the RNC is dead. At least to many of the grassroots volunteers who were personally insulted by a party fundraising email this weekend:
“Did you abandon the Republican Party?”
Chairman Priebus has written to you already this year asking you to contribute to the RNC and renew your membership. But we haven’t received your financial support yet this year.
Your past support has shown us that you believe in the Republican Party and the conservative principles we stand for. That’s why we still believe you haven’t given up on the Republican Party yet.
So we are giving you one more chance to renew your membership with the Republican National Committee.
After an accusatory opening line like that, why wouldn’t we give you all our money?
Not only does it practically BEG for the Ronald Reagan response (“I didn’t leave the party, the party left me”) but it labels the grassroots volunteers, who are the life blood of party campaigns and functions, as deadbeat defectors because all their hours of hard work weren’t in cash-form. Or those who give directly to candidates and causes, rather than the party itself…apparently that means you’ve “abandoned the GOP,” too.
And how does the RNC defend their offensive email? “The Democrats do it all the time.”
That justification speaks volumes (and could apply to so many offenses the RNC perpetrates against its own base). They are the masters of the self-fulfilling failure. Did you abandon the Republican Party? Well, if we haven’t before, we will now. Epic. fail.
Iran General’s threat: We’ll Hunt Down Israelis House To House
Remember when Islamic terrorists were waging bloody war across Iraq (again) and we asked the leaders of Iran to step up against ISIS and be the defenders of freedom? Good times.
Well, our new best friend-country might have some funny ideas about what “peace in the Middle East” means.
The deputy commander of Iran’s Revolutionary Guards vowed revenge against Israel for its ongoing military incursion into Gaza, which has already killed hundreds of Palestinians and dozens of Israelis.
“You [people of Israel] are trees without any roots which were planted in the Islamic lands by the British,” Brig. Gen. Hossein Salami said at this week’s Friday prayer sermon in Tehran, Fars News Agency reported.
“We will chase you house to house and will take revenge for every drop of blood of our martyrs in Palestine,” Salami said. “and this is the beginning point of Islamic nations awakening for your defeat.”
And naturally, he’s not happy with the U.S. either:
“We are confident that Allah’s promises will come true and in the end the Islamic world will be the graveyard of America and the Zionist regime’s policies along with their allies in the region. The flag of Islam will be raised,” Salami concluded.
But I’m sure he doesn’t mean it. We all really just want world peace. Right?
