Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindal’s speech last week at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library was one of the finest religious liberty speeches of this young century.
The foist of homosexual marriage and homosexual “civil rights” by the Obama Administration — aided and abetted by the liberal media elite and rogue judiciary — is becoming the defining challenge in our time.
Let President Barack Obama and Attorney General Eric Holder impose what they will to the contrary of “The Laws of Nature and of Nature’s God”, but let’s be clear, Evangelical and Pro-Life Catholic Christians will refuse to yield on homosexual marriage and the killing of babies in the womb even if hell freezes over; the state does not determine the conditions for eternal life.
Who empowered the government to shape the American family, and impose homosexual marriage and adoption? The Founders laid the foundation coupling the public order of the state and Christianity. “American life, as expressed by its laws, its business, its customs, and its society” shows that “this is a Christian nation.” Holy Trinity Church v. United States (1892)
President Obama’s lawlessness — and embrace of homosexual marriage — most likely, long-term, will drive African Americans out of the Democrat Party in droves. The loosening of the chains will have happened because of the content of President Obama and Attorney General Holder’s character, not the color of their skin.
How can the murder of babies in their mothers womb and homosexual marriage be taken out of the moral debate by the U.S. Supreme Court and federal judiciary? And then protected as a a fundamental right? What an outrage, who do they think that they are?
I mean, for crying out loud, we’ve been killing babies for forty years, with the full support of the American justice system. Now with President Obama and his Administration, virtue is accounted vice; truth as untruth; wisdom as folly. But we must, “Answer a fool according to his folly, lest he be wise in his own eyes.”, to keep from living in a topsy-turvy world.
On that note, last Thursday an Obama appointed, activist, federal judge overruled 1.3M Virginians, who voted in 2006 to establish marriage as one man and one woman. This is an outrage, unelected and unaccountable Judge Arenda L. Wright Allen must be held accountable and impeached by Congress under Article III of the U.S. Constitution, thereby fostering virtue and restraining of vice necessary for the health of the republic and long-term good of America. Her foolish decision — “Fools teach folly not only in their formal instruction but also in the bad example they set.” — must be opposed. “Remove the wicked official before a king, that his throne may be established by righteousness.”
Proverbs 16:11-12, “A just weight and balance are the LORD’s: all the weights of the bag are his work. It is an abomination to kings to commit wickedness: for the throne is established by righteousness.” Dr. Michael V. Fox comments, “God is the ultimate source of standards, and any distortion in their accuracy offends Him directly.”
Judge Wright Allen’s outrageous opinion does raise a few questions: who stole America’s Judeo Christian heritage and culture and when did the measure of success of the political order change from “righteousness exalts a nation” to the growth of the GDP? What makes a nation great, its virtue or its growth of government and economy? “Strong government is not a measure of success but of failure — moral and religious.” Paul W. Kahn, Putting Liberalism in Its Place
Secular ideology is becoming increasingly bold — with the decline of traditional religious values — using peer pressure, Hollywood’s values, and the exaltation and normalization of sin and impurity, portrayed as social norm, to cow religious convictions once painted in bold colors and warning lights for the state not to intrude.
Unfortunately Republicans have no one to blame but themselves — having the Presidency, House and Senate in 2006-2008 — their compromise of principle and quest for the Permanent Republican Majority — read Big Government, Compassionate Conservatism — collapsed due to faulty construction to the foundation. The means to impose political domination became the triangulation of political constituencies (African Americans, Hispanics, & Evangelicals) instead of principled conservative conviction and moral absolutes.
“The state is founded on nothing more that this sovereign act of will, which comes from nowhere, and has no measure apart from the people’s self-expression. The created order of the state is ‘good’ as long as the people look upon their creation and pronounce it to be good. When they find it otherwise, their violent act of self-destruction can be as ‘terrible’ as that of God when he rendered judgment on Sodom.” Paul W. Kahn
Secularism’s Evangelist Judge Wright Allen has stepped into the place of religion, providing homosexual marriage sacraments to the false gods of “political correctness” and “cultural Marxism”; now the state must enforce it.
Paradoxically, the honorable judge may have just established a revolutionary new beginning for the political order in America. To claim that the individuals behind these robes are infallible will be hard to sustain, and her reckless decision will expose the state and its claim to power as nothing at all.
Will a Gideon or Rahab the Harlot please stand.
