“I’m a realist.”

That’s the statement a man said to me at a pro-life rally this weekend. As I walked by him I said, “We’re going to END abortion.” But, because we have fought so long without success, he, like many in the pro-life movement, have given up on seeing victory.

I have not given up on ending abortion. Want to know why?

Because I’m a realist. God is real. His power is real. His promises are real. I’m a realist.

I also believe that to win, we must do more than regulate around the edges of abortion. Franklin Graham is right. Influencing the elected hasn’t worked. We must become the elected.

It’s time to run for office and finish the job the establishment incumbents refuse to do. And once we’re elected, we’re going to end abortion. For real.
