Great Commission Report
Matthew 28:19 tells us to: “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations.” How are we doing on that?
According to a recent Pew Research poll, not great. According to the poll, 89 percent, a very large majority of Americans still say they believe in God. But those who say they are “absolutely certain” God exists is down eight points from 71 percent in 2007 to 63 percent in 2014—with only half of young adults certain that God exists.
Isn’t it good to know that God exists no matter what people say in the polls?
Troubling that only 39 percent of young adults pray daily, and they are less likely to attend church. Twenty-eight percent–twice as many Democrats compared to 14 percent Republicans have no religious affiliation.
