GOP Rep. Nunes Sues Twitter

Over the past decade, Google, Facebook, Amazon, Instagram and Twitter have been systematically targeting conservatives.

They have been working to silence conservatives and Christians because they speak the truth and they can’t stand to have anyone hear or read the truth.

A number of conservatives have taken their cases of being unduly censored, having accounts demonetized and even shut down, because when they post the truth, it offends liberals.

It doesn’t matter if the liberal, socialist and anti-Christian posts offend conservatives, only if liberals are offended.

On Monday, Rep. Devin Nunes (R-CA) filed a major lawsuit against Twitter and some twitter users for their treatment of conservatives.

Fox News – Nunes sues Twitter, some users, seeks over $250M alleging anti-conservative ‘shadow bans,’ smears – California GOP Rep. Devin Nunes filed a major lawsuit seeking $250 million in compensatory damages and $350,000 in punitive damages against Twitter and a handful of its users on Monday, accusing the social media site of “shadow-banning conservatives” to secretly hide their posts, systematically censoring opposing viewpoints, and totally “ignoring” lawful complaints of repeated abusive behavior.

In a complaint filed in Virginia state court on Monday, obtained by Fox News, Nunes claimed Twitter wanted to derail his work on the House Intelligence Committee, which he chaired until 2019, as he looked into alleged and apparent surveillance abuses by the government. Nunes said Twitter was guilty of “knowingly hosting and monetizing content that is clearly abusive, hateful and defamatory – providing both a voice and financial incentive to the defamers – thereby facilitating defamation on its platform.”

The lawsuit alleged defamation, conspiracy and negligence, as well as violations of the state’s prohibition against “insulting words” — effectively fighting words that tend towards “violence and breach of the peace.” The complaint sought not only damages, but also an injunction compelling Twitter to turn over the identities behind numerous accounts he said harassed and defamed him…

One of the problems with conservatives attempts to file lawsuits against tech and social media giants is that these giant companies are extremely wealthy.

They have the resources and attorneys to drag out lawsuits so long that most conservatives cannot afford the legal fees to continue the lawsuits, so they end up dropping the lawsuit after going broke.

Hopefully, Nunes has the resources to take Twitter all the way to the end.

Hopefully, Twitter will only be the first of these liberal run giants to face similar lawsuits.
